Niederthai lies on a sun plateau situated in a neighbouring valley of the Ötztal Valley. At a height of 1550 m, Niederthai offers you clear mountain air and pure relaxation.
Surrounded by majestic Alpine forest, the picturesque mountain village is the starting point for numerous hiking trails and mountain treks.
In addition to the many diverse activities, the culinary side of the little village also deserves a mention: Niederthai offers excellent gastronomy and is particularly well-known for its home-style cuisine.

Untouched, rural, Alpine – discover the surrounding landscape using one of the many hiking trails and be amazed. Sit down in one of the many pastures and huts and enjoy the fantastic view over the Ötztal Valley mountains.
Climbing & single-pitch ascents
The Ötztal Valley in the Tirol is a climber’s paradise. With a total of around 750 routes, everyone will find their own personal favourite in one of the 20 crags. All climbing enthusiasts can let off steam on one of the 8 single-pitch routes and the numerous multi-pitch routes.
